How online sessions work
Online sessions take place on Zoom. After booking, you’ll receive an email with a joining link. You don’t need a Zoom account — just click the link at your appointment time.
What you’ll need
- A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone
- A reliable internet connection
- A private, comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted
If something goes wrong technically
[JO TO CONFIRM: what happens if the connection fails or the session can’t go ahead as planned — is the session rearranged, is it refunded, or does it depend on the circumstances?]
Recording
[JO TO CONFIRM: are online sessions ever recorded? If not, this should say sessions are never recorded. If they sometimes are — for example for training-supervision purposes — that needs explaining and would need separate consent.]
About our online sessions
Our online sessions offer complementary therapy support and are not a substitute for medical or mental-health care, and are not an emergency, crisis or medical service. If you need urgent support, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or the emergency services.
Suitability
[JO TO CONFIRM: is there anything that makes a particular treatment unsuitable to be delivered online — for example, does Online IEMT need a suitability check before the first session, as mentioned in the Online Sessions page brief? If so, what does that involve?]
Payment
[JO TO CONFIRM: how is an online session paid for, given there’s no online booking — is it invoiced after the call is arranged, taken by phone card payment, or something else?]
